MINOR IRRIGATION

To increase Agricultural Production & for uplifting of small & marginal farmers, FREE BORING SCHEME is being implemented though minor Irrigation Deptt. with the help of staff posted in blocks under supervision of B.D.O., A.E. (M.I.), D.D.O., C.D.O., E.E., (M.I.) & S.E. (M.I.).

Scheme gives technical assistance and subsidy to small and marginal farmers for construction of their own irrigation resources.

(i) For small farmers having holding between 1 to 2 Hect. an assistance upto Rs. 3000.00 is given for Boring and Rs. 2800.00 as subsidy for installation of pump set.

(ii) Form marginal farmers having holding upto 1 Hect., an assistance upto Rs. 4000.00 is given for Boring and Rs. 3,750.00 as subsidy for installation of pump set.

(iii) For small & marginal farmers of schedule caste, an assistance upto Rs. 5000.00 is given for Boring and Rs. 5650.00 as subsidy for installation of pump set.
